Additional option for HF-series

The associated setting-up processes wasted time and risked jeopardizing component quality. Even with manual machining, the same kinds of problems occurred. As a result, Klingelnberg decided to expand the application range of its cylindrical gear cutting machines: The cutting machines in the HF Series now enable you to perform the deburring, chamfering, and herringbone gearing processes in one single clamping, thanks to the addition of the "Facer" function.


Additional Option "Facer" for HF-series:

  • Chamfering integrated in machine via chamfering unit in counter support
  • The machine software calculates and controls contour motion and processes
  • For creating freely definable, high-quality chamfers Low investment and tool costs reduce the per-component costs
  • Can chamfer and debur any kind of straight, helical, or herringbone gearing
  • Minimal tooling and adjustment work
  • Ideal for single-item production
            The machine dimensions of the standard version are for orientation only. The final machine dimension / final space requirement depends on the individual configuration of the machine.
