KOMET5: Process reliability in bevel gear production

Function:

KOMET5 is used in bevel gear gearing and face type coupling production (Curvic® Couplings) to calculate corrections for machine settings and/or tool data in order to reduce variations between nominal and actual geometry. Once program- and data-specific parameters have been configured, KOMET5 is a fully automatic, intuitive correction program. The correction calculation is based on the gearing and process design in neutral data (alternatively, master gear data) format and the nominal data generated based on these data. Calculated corrections are made available to the production machine via a network or portable media.
